Just-Notes: Sticky Notes

Get it out of your head. Keep it in sight.

Just-Notes is a sticky notes app with a home screen widget and reminders that ring like an alarm. A calm notepad for what you mean to remember: the shopping list, the quote for the kitchen, the call at eleven. Write it in seconds, and it is there, in order, the next time you look.

A STICKY NOTE WIDGET ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
A widget keeps your notes, reminders or tasks in sight, in a list that scrolls. You choose what it shows when you place it.

REMINDERS THAT RING
Set the reminder inside the note. Once you allow alarms, it rings with your alarm sound at the minute you set, and it can take the whole screen, even when the phone is locked.

EVERYTHING IN ONE NOTE
Checklists, headings, links, photos and files sit in the note they belong to. Paste a table from a spreadsheet, sort it, add a formula and read the total without leaving the note. Attachments stay with the note even after you move or delete the original.

WHAT GOES IN IT
Shopping lists and grocery lists. The to-do list for today. Meeting notes and class notes. Packing lists, recipes, the measurements you will need at the shop. Anything you would write on a sticky note and lose.

FIND IT AGAIN
Search runs over every note you have written, by any word inside it, and it runs on the phone rather than on a server, so it answers with the plane mode on.

ONE CALM LIST
Your notes gather into sections you open and close, each in a color of its own. Archive what is done and bring it back whenever you need it. A note is deleted for good only after you confirm.

WORKS OFFLINE
Everything you write is saved as you type and works offline, on the plane and in the basement. Export any time to plain files that open in any text editor, today or ten years from now. The app runs without ads, analytics or tracking, and what you write stays on your phone until you switch sync on.

SYNC BETWEEN YOUR DEVICES
Sign in with the same Google account on each device, and your notes follow you through a hidden folder in your own Google Drive that only Just-Notes can open. Only you can read them. Sync is part of a subscription, and signing in with an account that has one turns it on.

MAKE IT YOURS
Five themes, light and dark, a color for every section from 130 shades, and five app icons.

FREE
The app is free, and everything above except sync works without an account, for as long as you like.
