Joehoe

If something happened to you, who would notice?

Joehoe is there for the moments when you need help — and for the moments when you can't let anyone know that something is wrong.

With Joehoe, you can send an emergency alert yourself, connect trusted people, and use protection that can notice when you haven't responded for an unusually long time.

Help when you ask for it
Need help right now? Start an emergency alert in Joehoe. Your trusted people are notified. Available people nearby can also receive your emergency alert, so help doesn't have to depend only on someone who may be far away.

Protection when you can't respond
Joehoe can use certain signals from your phone as signs that you've been active. If no activity is detected for an unusually long time, Joehoe can send you a wellbeing check. If you don't respond, your trusted people can be notified.

Check-in
Want someone to notice if you don't arrive at your destination? Set a check-in. If you don't confirm that you're okay in time, Joehoe can notify your trusted people.

Help Nearby
Sometimes someone nearby matters more than someone you know well. With Help Nearby, available Joehoe users in the area can receive an emergency alert when someone needs help. Helping is always voluntary.

You don't have to know each other to be there for each other. The more people who join, the closer help can become.

You choose who you trust
Add trusted people of your choice. They can be notified when you ask for help, don't respond to a wellbeing check, or miss a scheduled check-in.

Protection without watching you
Joehoe doesn't need to know what you message, read or do. The app only uses certain signals that can indicate that you've been active. Your location isn't used as a social live tracker. During an active help or emergency situation, location may be shared to help people assist you.

Joining is free
Joining the Joehoe network is free. You can be a trusted person and participate in Help Nearby.

Want protection for yourself? Joehoe Protection is available for €2.99 per month after a 7-day free trial. The final price may be displayed in your local currency and can vary by country or region.
