Icon Changer: Customize Icons

Give your home screen a look that is truly yours. Icon Changer lets you design a new icon and name for any app on your phone and add it to your home screen in a few taps.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose an app from the list (search by name).
2. Style its icon: pick a shape, a background, a symbol or your own photo.
3. Rename it if you like, then tap Add to home screen.

Icon Changer creates a custom shortcut (or a widget) that opens the app. Your installed apps, their data and their icons in the app drawer are never modified.

SHAPES
Circle, square, rounded, squircle, teardrop, hexagon, pebble, or keep the original outline. Modern adaptive icons are reshaped edge to edge, so they stay crisp.

BACKGROUNDS
Solid colours and soft gradients picked to look good together. Symbol colours adjust automatically so text stays readable.

SYMBOLS, EMOJI AND INITIALS
Use the app's own icon, its initials, a ready-made symbol, or type up to three letters or emoji.

YOUR OWN PHOTOS
Pick any picture with the Android photo picker or take one with your camera, then crop it to a square. Icon Changer needs no storage or camera permission, and your photos stay on your phone.

RENAME APPS
Give any app the name you want on your home screen. A hint tells you when a name is long enough that your launcher may shorten it.

NO BADGE? USE A WIDGET
Some launchers put a small badge on shortcuts created by other apps. If yours does, add the icon as a 1x1 widget instead: widgets never get the badge.

YOUR ICONS
Every icon you make is saved, so you can add it again, turn it into a widget, edit it, or delete it. Edits update the shortcut already on your home screen where your launcher allows it.

PRIVACY
Icon Changer has no account and no server. It reads the names and icons of your apps only to show them to you on your device. Ads are shown by Google AdMob, which may also deliver ads from Unity Ads, after asking for consent where required. A one-time purchase removes all ads; every feature works without it.

- How shortcuts and widgets look depends on your launcher.
- Adding widgets from an app requires Android 8.0 or newer and a launcher that supports it.
