Bamboo Connect suggests a few people in your area every week who are worth meeting, and explains why they are. You choose who to go out for coffee with, and you decide. No feed, no swipes, no Smalltalk loops.

This is not a dating app. What we're looking for here are friends, partners, and entrepreneurs worth meeting, not dates.

More than 1,000 members, and each of them was approved by a person before joining.

How it works

1. Sign up and tell us what you do, what interests you, and what you're looking for.

2. A real person reads every request to join before approval. This is why the community remains high-quality.

3. Receive personal matches, choose who to meet, and schedule a meeting.

Based on your interests, goals, and city, Bamboo brings you people worth meeting, and explains exactly what you have in common. You decide who to message, and when.

Who’s available now

Do you have two hours free in the city? You mark yourself free, see who else is available within walking distance, and go out for coffee. This is how spontaneous meetings that are difficult to schedule are created.

Small meetings

Recommendations

After a meeting, you can recommend the person you met, and the recommendation appears on their profile. This is how trust is built within the community, instead of ranking strangers.

Safety and privacy

The community is closed. Each request to join is read and approved by a person, profiles are visible only to community members, and you can block or report any member at any time.

How is it different from a regular social network

On a social network, you consume content from people you already know. Here, you get a few people you don't know, one reason why it's worth getting to know each of them, and a way to schedule a meeting. Success is measured by the meeting that happened, not the time spent in the app.

Your first week

On the first day, you fill out a short profile and wait for approval. After approval, you receive the first matches, choose one or two and send a message. Most members schedule their first meeting within the first week.

Where is it active

The community is active in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Herzliya, Raanana, Haifa, Jerusalem, Beersheba and other cities in Israel. You can join from anywhere, and matches begin when there are enough members in your area.
