About NUQT: Quran Pronunciation
NUQT helps learners move from Arabic letters to Quran recitation through guided practice, word-level listening, Tajweed study, and focused Quran reading tools.
Begin with the Arabic alphabet, learn where each sound is formed, listen to reference pronunciation, and practise at your own pace. Continue into Quranic words, ayat, and surahs while keeping the learning path clear and structured.
LEARN ARABIC LETTERS
- Study all 28 Arabic letters with articulation points and letter characteristics
- Listen to clear reference audio for every letter
- Follow ear-training drills that help you tell similar sounds apart
- Revisit letters scheduled for review through spaced practice
READ ALL 114 SURAHS
- Read Uthmani Arabic with adjustable Arabic text size
- Turn translation and transliteration layers on or off while reading
- Choose Quran scripts, translation editions, tafsir sources, and page styles
- Search by surah name, Arabic text, translated meaning, or ayah reference such as 2:255
- Jump directly to an ayah, page, juz, hizb, or ruku without long scrolling
- Use fast scrolling for long surahs and return to your last reading position
WORD BY WORD TOUCH READING
Tap an Arabic word to hear its pronunciation. Turn on inline meanings to place the selected word-meaning language below every Arabic word, or long-press a word for its meaning, root, lemma, grammar details, and replay controls. Drag across a phrase to hear the selected span, or play the ayah with word highlighting.
QURAN AUDIO STUDIO
- Browse 288 recitation profiles across normal, Muallim, Mujawwad, and Tarawih styles
- Filter by recitation style and by ayah-precision or whole-surah recording
- Play, pause, resume, stop, or move to the previous or next surah
- Adjust recitation speed and choose the surah you want to hear
- Download selected recitation resources for later listening
- Build listening playlists and review listening history
STUDY TAJWEED
Follow a Tajweed school with clear rule explanations, application steps, and Quranic examples. Reader highlighting can show recitation rules in context, while focused lesson screens let you study one concept before moving to the next.
MEMORIZE AND BUILD A ROUTINE
- Mark ayat as memorized and review your progress
- Use Hifz sessions, repetition controls, and Arabic-only focus modes
- Create a Khatm reading plan and follow daily targets
- Bookmark ayat, save notes, and collect passages for later review
- Continue from the ayah where you stopped previously
- Use the daily ayah, optional reminder, and Quran widgets to maintain a reading routine
LEARN THROUGH A STRUCTURED PATH
Move through a 68-lesson curriculum covering foundational sounds, Arabic letters, common Quranic words, Tajweed, and recitation practice. Progress views show completed work and the next lesson or review waiting for you.
LANGUAGES AND READING CHOICES
NUQT includes 30 interface languages and right-to-left layouts where needed. Select one language for word meanings, choose from available full-ayah translations, and keep the Quran page as detailed or as quiet as your current reading goal requires.
