About ELO Villas

ELO Villas is the operations app for the team that runs ELO Villas, a private safari camp in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. It is a working tool for camp staff and managers. It is not a booking app and it is not for guests.

REPORT A JOB IN SECONDS

Photograph what is wrong, describe it in your own words, and it is logged against the right villa with its priority and its clock running. The team sees what is open, what somebody is already dealing with, and what was finished. Timings come from the server, so nobody can lose or fudge them.

KEEP EVERY VILLA THE WAY IT SHOULD BE

Each area of each villa has reference photographs of how it is meant to look, set by a manager. Walk in, take the same shot, and the app puts the two side by side and proposes what has changed: the cushion that is missing, the artwork that has moved, the lamp that is out. It proposes, and a person decides. From any difference you can raise a job without typing it all again.

BUILT FOR A PLACE WITH NO SIGNAL

The camp's connection comes and goes, so nothing here waits for it. Whatever you last synced stays readable with no bars at all. Whatever you write, including photographs, is queued on the tablet and sent by itself when the link returns. You never have to remember to retry, and closing the app or running out of battery loses nothing.

ON TABLETS AND PHONES

The layout uses the room a tablet gives it and stays usable one-handed on a phone. The camp works on tablets; managers carry it on a phone.

ACCOUNTS ARE BY INVITATION

There is no public sign-up. A manager invites each person from inside the app, and they set their own password from a link sent to their email. If you are not part of the ELO Villas team, you will not be able to sign in.

You can delete your account and your personal record from inside the app at any time, from the Profile screen.
