IRIS by DIGIINFRA

IRIS — Intelligent Road Inspection System

IRIS uses advanced computer vision and AI to automatically detect more than 30 defects like potholes, cracks, and other surface anomalies from your vehicle-mounted camera or smartphone — no manual tagging required.

Built for highway authorities, road maintenance teams, and infrastructure companies, IRIS enables predictive maintenance at scale, saving millions in repair costs and ensuring safer journeys for everyone.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Create a patrol and define your route — select the road, chainage, and side.
2. Mount your phone on the dashboard and start recording. IRIS captures geo-tagged frames as you drive.
3. Lock the patrol when done. Our AI pipeline analyzes every frame for defects.
4. Review results on an interactive map with defect locations, severity classifications, and full inspection reports.

KEY FEATURES

Automated Defect Detection
AI-powered detection of potholes, cracks, raveling, patching failures, edge breaks, and 30+ surface defect categories — all without human intervention.

GPS-Tagged Inspections
Every captured frame is tagged with precise GPS coordinates and timestamps. Defects are plotted on an interactive map for easy visualization and route-based reporting.

Predictive Surface Degradation
Track road conditions over time across repeated patrols. Identify sections deteriorating faster than expected and prioritize maintenance before failures escalate.

Works With or Without IRIS Hardware
Use IRIS as a standalone mobile app with your phone's camera, or pair it with the IRIS Engine — a custom build dedicated inspection device — for higher-accuracy, always-on monitoring.

Detailed Reports
Generate full inspection reports with defect counts, severity breakdowns, and geo-referenced imagery. Export and share with stakeholders directly from the app.
