Custodis: Redact then ask AI

Use AI on a document while keeping its original and hidden values on your phone. Custodis replaces details you choose to hide with consistent tokens in the protected text you review. That helps an AI follow the document without those values. Bring an answer back to Custodis to restore matching details locally.

START WITH YOUR DOCUMENT
Open a PDF or photo, scan paper, or practice with fictional 1040 and Meridian agreement demos. Choose Rapid for a direct path or Advanced for more control. Review the PDF, inspect hidden fields, and add a pen mark if a detail needs covering. Save a reviewed redacted PDF or copy protected text for an AI service you choose.

CHOOSE YOUR AI PATH
With your own AI, Custodis copies reviewed protected text only after you allow this separate clipboard action. You decide where to paste it. Paste the finished reply back into Custodis to restore supported matching details on your device.

Personal and Pro also offer built-in Ask Custodis AI through OpenAI or Anthropic. Both provider choices start off. Turning one on sends nothing; a request is sent only when you tap Send. Custodis shows the protected text before that action. A value you deliberately reveal can be included only after separate confirmation. Automatic detection can miss a private detail, so review the text before sharing it.

PRACTICE AND PLANS
The two bundled fictional demos can be used repeatedly without using your Free allowance. Free includes two successful personal-document redactions on this Android installation without an account or payment. A multi-page document counts once; each successful document in a batch counts separately.

Basic adds unlimited ordinary on-device redaction and protected copy for your own AI. Built-in Ask Custodis AI and tax-form-aware detection require Personal or Pro. Personal includes common personal tax forms and 50 built-in AI questions each month. Pro includes the full IRS form library and 200 built-in AI questions each month.

YOUR DOCUMENTS AND CHOICES
During ordinary redaction, Custodis keeps the original, hidden values, and token restoration map on your device. Custodis Files can store approved documents encrypted on this device without automatic cloud sync. A built-in AI request sends the reviewed protected text, your question, and needed conversation context through Custodis Relay to the provider you enabled. It does not send the original file or token map. Any exact value you separately choose to reveal can appear in that request.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. There is no introductory trial. Paid access begins after Google Play confirms a purchase and Custodis verifies it. Manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play.
