Ashraf & Co

Ashraf & Co is our invite-only records app for clients and for Ashraf & Co staff.

It is not a public bookkeeping store. You sign in with credentials from Ashraf & Co. One app serves clients, accountants, and admins, with access controlled by role and client — checked on the server as well as in the app.

WHY IT EXISTS
Receipts, PDFs, and notes still pile up before Self Assessment and day-to-day books. This app helps clients submit clearer records and helps our team work across clients in one place — without a separate web portal.

FOR CLIENTS
• Photograph or upload receipts and supporting documents
• On-device text recognition suggests amounts, merchants, and dates — you review and edit before saving
• Create income and expense transactions linked to your documents
• See activity on your dashboard and browse your history
• View practice invoices, mark them paid when asked, and follow confirmation
• Request meetings with your accountant and track confirm, decline, cancel, or complete
• Stay informed via the in-app notification centre (optional mobile push wake when available)

FOR ACCOUNTANTS AND ADMINS
• Switch between authorised clients in the same app
• Invite clients; admins can add accountants and optionally restrict who sees which clients
• Issue invoices with a practice PDF, confirm payments, and work from the invoice register
• Organise documents by type — transactions, HMRC-related correspondence, identity, and invoices
• Manage meeting requests end to end (reschedule by cancelling and requesting again)
• Use the work queue for overdue invoices, pending identity items, and items still needing a category

BUILT FOR EVERYDAY USE
• Keep working offline: changes queue on your device and sync when you are back online
• Sync history shows what is pending, finished, or needs attention
• Soft-delete with a recycle bin where the app offers restore
• Secure sign-in
• Light and dark appearance
• Text recognition and draft category suggestions run on your device — not a third-party OCR cloud

PRIVACY AND ACCESS
Clients see their own records. Accountants see the clients they are allowed to access. Admins manage people and access. Public self-registration is not available.
