PRIVACY, STATED PLAINLY
Voice, video and messages on organisation and private channels are end-to-end encrypted. They are sealed on your device to each recipient's key, and our servers relay bytes they hold no key for. Public channels are labelled in the app and are not end-to-end encrypted, because anyone may join one.

There is no forward secrecy yet. A stolen device key could expose that device's past messages. We would rather write that down than let a padlock icon imply more than it delivers.
