Trax

Trax is the living-room client for your own media server.

Point it at a Trax server. Yours, your family's, a friend's — sign in, and the house lights go down. No ads, no accounts with us, no tracking, no subscriptions. Your server, your library, your people.

BUILT FOR THE COUCH
• Direct play through a hardware-accelerated player — your files, untouched
• Instant seeking with filmstrip previews
• Floating subtitles, including full image-subtitle support
• Skip Intro and Skip Credits
• Autoplay into the next episode
• Audio and subtitle track selection, right on the remote

A LIBRARY THAT KNOWS YOU
• Continue Watching and Next Up, synced across every device
• Search your whole library — titles, episodes, even actors and directors
• Cast and crew on every detail page
• Watch-state everywhere: what's seen, what's half-finished, what's up next

QUIET BY DESIGN
Dark, calm, and remote-first. No hovering menus, no clutter — the artwork is the show.

YOU'LL NEED A SERVER
Trax is a client. It connects to a Trax media server that you or someone you know runs. If you've been invited to one, sign in and you're home. Without a server there's nothing to stream (though you're welcome to look around).

Private by architecture: the app talks only to the server you choose. We collect nothing. Privacy policy: https://trax.stream/privacy
