Gunoor

Gunóor — also spelled Gunoor — is the peer-to-peer car rental marketplace in Senegal. Whether you're looking to rent a car in Dakar for the weekend or make some money from your own while it's sitting idle in the garage, Gunóor connects owners and drivers directly.

Between us, it's smooth sailing. 🚗

WHY GUNÓOR? Renting a car in Senegal should be simple, clear, and safe. With Gunóor, you can book in minutes from your phone, pay with the methods you already use, and hit the road with peace of mind.

CARS NEAR YOU
Find a car to rent in Dakar, Saly, Mbour, and Thiès. A compact car for the city, a sedan for an event, a 4x4 for the open road: each owner sets their own price and terms.

PAY LIKE IN SENEGAL
Pay for your rental with Wave, Orange Money, or an international credit card. Practical for everyday use, and convenient for the diaspora planning their trip from abroad.

VERIFIED PROFILES ON BOTH SIDES
Both renters and owners undergo identity verification (ID card + selfie). Once the booking is confirmed, you see the verified owner's profile right in front of you. You know exactly who you're entrusting with the keys and their car.

YOUR SECURE PAYMENTS
Funds are held securely throughout the rental period and released at the right time. Your money remains protected until everything is settled and satisfactory for both parties.

EVERYTHING IS IN PLACE
• Digital rental agreement signed by both parties
• Vehicle inspection upon key handover and return
• Integrated live chat for communication before and during the rental
• Reviews and ratings after each rental

HOW IT WORKS
1. Search for a car based on your city and dates.

2. Book and pay via Wave, Orange Money, or credit card.
3. Verify your identity (ID + selfie).

4. Pick up the keys, complete the vehicle inspection, and drive off.

DO YOU HAVE A CAR?
List your car on Gunóor and earn money when you're not using it. Publish your listing for free: 90 days free at launch. You choose your dates, your price, and your terms. Your phone number remains private: the renter only sees it once the booking is confirmed and paid. You stay in control: we secure payment and renter identity.

"Gunoor" or "Gunóor"? It's the same app: peer-to-peer car rental, designed for Senegal. Renting a car in Dakar, offering yours in Thiès, or helping out a cousin in Saly has never been so easy.
