IOU

IOU keeps track of shared expenses so nobody has to do the maths at the end of a trip.

Create a group for a holiday, a flat share or a night out, add the people you are splitting with, and log expenses as they happen. IOU works out who owes whom and suggests the smallest number of payments needed to settle up.

What you can do:

- Create groups for trips, flatmates, dinners or anything else you split
- Add an expense, pick who paid and who takes part, and IOU splits it evenly
- See your balance per group at a glance: what you owe, what you are owed
- Settle up with the fewest transfers, and record settlements as they happen
- Multiple currencies per group, kept separate so nothing gets muddled
- Invite friends by email or a share link; they can join whenever they like
- An activity feed per group, so every change is visible to everyone
- Works offline: add expenses on the plane or in the mountains, and they sync when you are back online

IOU records who owes what. It does not move money and is not connected to any bank or payment provider.

Sign in with your Google account. Your data belongs to you: delete your account any time from Settings, and shared ledgers stay correct for everyone else.
