About GSA Summit
GSA Summit is the companion app for events run by the Global SDGs Alliance. One account works across every event you take part in: each event has its own programme, participant directory, forms and staff, and you can switch between your events from the Home screen.
JOINING AN EVENT
Use the invite code or link from the organisers, or browse public events in the app and send a request to join. If you belong to more than one event, the app opens the one that is happening now and lets you switch with a tap.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Agenda
See the programme in the event's local time. Open a session for its room, description, speakers and attached materials.
Check-in
Confirm your attendance by scanning the QR code shown by staff, or by entering the code manually when the camera is unavailable.
Materials
Read handbooks, programme documents and session files. Keep items on your device so they stay available when the venue network is busy.
Forms and submissions
Complete the forms the organisers assign to you, and upload the files a session asks for. Deadlines are shown in the event's local time.
Announcements
Follow schedule changes and logistics notices during the event, and see which ones you have already read.
Participant directory
Look up other participants of the same event. Your own card is on by default; in Settings you can hide your job title or organisation, choose whether to show your phone number, or switch the card off entirely. If the organisers place you in a group, your name is shown in that group's list to others in the event, even when your card is off.
Language
Use the app in English or Traditional Chinese, and change the language at any time in Settings.
PRIVACY
Sensitive information such as allergies, travel details and emergency contacts is collected separately for each event and is never shown to other participants. Field-level privacy is enforced on the server, not only in the app, so details you switch off are never sent to other people's devices.
You can leave an event without deleting your account, and you can delete your account from inside the app at any time.
ACCESS
An account is required. You can create one in the app; the content of an event is available once you have joined it.
