Ledsa

The companion certificate gives you the right to bring a companion with you. The problem is finding out where it actually applies — and what the companion pays.

The information is usually available, but it is at the bottom of a price list, inside a question-and-answer, or nowhere at all. Ledsa collects it in one place.

HOW IT WORKS

Search for a place or municipality, or see what is nearby on the map. For each place you will find out:

• whether the place accepts companion certificates
• what the companion pays
• what conditions apply — age limit, advance booking, documentation
• where the information comes from, with a link to the source
• when we last checked it

WHY THE DATE IS THERE

All previous Norwegian overviews of this have rotted away. They were made once and never updated, and in the end they sent people to places that had changed their practices a long time ago.

That's why the date of the last check is on every entry, and that's why it says "not disclosed" instead of a guessed answer. We'd rather say we don't know than for you to show up and be rejected.

SAVE AND USE OFFLINE

Bookmark the places you use often. They are only stored on your phone — no account. If you have opened a place before, you can read it again offline. The app then warns you that the information may be out of date.

NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING

Ledsa does not require a login and does not collect information about you. No cookies, no analytics tools, no advertising.

The app can ask for your location to show nearby places. The location is used on the phone and is not sent further. If you say no, the app works fully — then you search for the municipality instead.

DID YOU FIND AN ERROR?

Report it in the app. Places change practices, and an overview is only worth something if someone corrects it. We will check the message against the source and update.
