KoiPilot: Koi & Pond Journal

KoiPilot is the journal for your koi pond: record water values and make sense
of them, keep pond care on schedule, follow every koi with its growth and
health. Without an account everything stays on your device; with one, it is
backed up in the cloud. No ads either way.

WATER VALUES THAT SAY SOMETHING
15 parameters with reference ranges from pond practice – temperature, pH, KH,
GH, ammonium, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, oxygen, salt, conductivity, redox,
chlorine, phosphate. Every value gets an assessment, a trend and a history. The
ranges can be adjusted, and anyone who tracks iron or the result of a special
test simply adds a parameter of their own.

POND STATUS INSTEAD OF A GRADE
Readings, trends and open tasks add up to a rough, reasoned assessment: "Watch
nitrite" rather than "2 notes". Old measurements stop claiming anything – where
a value is overdue, the app says so instead of showing a number from the year
before last in large type.

POND CARE IN RHYTHM
Repeats, buckets by due date, history and suggestions for the season.
Reminders are optional and are created on the device.

YOUR KOI
Name, variety, measurements, photos. Growth over time, weight estimated from
length, health entries with treatments – agent, period, outcome.

EQUIPMENT AND COSTS
Pumps, filters and UV clarifiers with service intervals and an estimate of
what they cost to run.

FIVE CALCULATORS
Water change, salt, koi weight, electricity cost, feed amount by temperature
and biomass.

REPORTS AND CLOUD
Totals across all ponds, exported as CSV. With an account, everything is backed
up in the cloud, photos included – for a new phone or a second device, even an
iPhone.

ON PHONE AND TABLET
The bottom bar on the phone, a navigation rail on tablets.
