Training Minds: Toddler

Your child's brain already works hard enough.

Most toddler apps begin presenting lessons before a child has learned that what appears on a screen can represent something in the real world. Then they rely on repetition and hope learning follows. Training Minds starts with that missing connection.

What your toddler already knows
A toddler who can't yet say "lion" may already know exactly what a lion is — they just haven't been asked in a way that shows it. Training Minds lessons are built on what's already there, which makes learning less frustrating for your toddler and more encouraging for you.

Designed to make it count
Before any regular lesson runs, Training Minds helps your toddler connect what appears on the screen with the world around them — a skill young children haven't usually mastered yet, and one most apps never teach directly. From there, every lesson builds on the last: clear examples, real contrast, and immediate feedback, instead of hoping your toddler eventually figures something out after seeing it enough times. Connected lessons, not disconnected games.

What your toddler learns
140+ research-based lessons for ages 18–48 months, across 8 domains — animals, food, body parts, colors, shapes, vehicles, emotions, letters, numbers, and more — with 18,000+ professional voice recordings, 2,900+ photorealistic images, and 140+ videos, fully bilingual in English and Spanish with independent progress tracking per language. Beyond vocabulary and early reading, lessons build categories, sequencing, and early reasoning.

Bring learning into the real world
The app introduces and practices the idea. You help your child use it at the zoo, at the grocery store, and everywhere else life provides another example. Try before you buy — demo the 3 most popular lessons on our website: https://app.trainingminds.co

Built for parents who are paying attention
No data collected or shared — ever. No account, no cloud sync, no analytics. Works completely offline after download — plane, road trip, anywhere. No ads and no engagement algorithms, so nothing competes for your toddler's attention except the lesson in front of them. Two visual styles — bold tiles or a natural-wood Montessori look — so the app fits how your home already looks. Multiple child profiles, each with an independent lesson path. Calm progress tracking: no scores, no rankings, no percentiles.

I studied psychology and behavioral economics at Harvard. Becoming a mother brought me back to the question that first pulled me toward psychology: how do people learn and make decisions? That question became Training Minds. I'm currently writing a book about what I've learned.
