TopChat: Group Chats & News

TopChat brings your groups, news and your local marketplace into one app. Join a group chat for your campus, neighbourhood or an interest you follow, keep up with the stories that matter to you, and buy or sell in your favourite marketplaces.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Join group chats
Find communities built around your school, your city, your profession or a hobby. Every group chat has its own space for messages, photos, videos and links. Reply to any message, react with an emoji, and join conversations about interesting topics.

Follow news channels
Channels publish stories through the day. Open the Feed to swipe through them, read the article and comment on the ones worth discussing. Only the channels you join appear in your Feed, so it stays relevant to you rather than filling up with noise.

Buy and sell in marketplaces
Marketplaces let members post listings with photos, prices and details. Browse what is available near you, message a seller directly, and find deals close to you.

Follow shops and businesses
Shops post their products and updates so you can see what is new. Businesses can be messaged directly, so asking a question or getting a quote takes a single tap.

WHY PEOPLE USE TOPCHAT

- One app instead of four. Group chats, news, listings and shops live together.
- A feed you control. You see the channels you chose to join, not an algorithm's guess about you.
- Conversation around everything. Every story, listing and product can be discussed.
- Light on mobile data. Photos are optimised before they are sent, which matters when data is metered.
- Built for everyday phones. TopChat is designed to stay responsive on entry-level Android devices.
