Swoopy: Give & Get Nearby

Someone's trash is someone's treasure.

Swoopy is the easiest way to give away things you no longer need — and to find free items from people right around you. Instead of throwing usable stuff in the bin, pass it on to a neighbour who wants it. Less waste, less clutter, a little more good in your day.

BROWSE FREE ITEMS NEARBY
Swipe through free items posted by people near you in a simple, fast card view, or open the map to see what's available around your area. Found something you want? Reserve it in a tap and arrange a pickup.

GIVE THINGS A SECOND LIFE
Snap a few photos, add a title and a short description, and post. Furniture, books, kitchenware, plants, clothes, kids' gear — if it's still useful to someone, it belongs on Swoopy instead of in the landfill.

PRIVACY BUILT IN
You choose how your location is shared on every post:
• Street mode shows the exact pickup spot — great for items left out front.
• Home mode only ever shows an approximate area, never your precise address.
Home posts are kept off the public map, so your home stays private.

RESERVE AND PICK UP
Reserve an item to hold it, then coordinate the handoff. Get notified when someone requests your item or when a reservation updates, so nothing slips through the cracks.

A COMMUNITY THAT STAYS RESPECTFUL
Swoopy includes reporting and blocking tools so you stay in control of who you interact with. We remove content and users that break the rules.
