Silver Halide Desk

Silver Halide Desk is an offline workbench for home black-and-white film development. Organize exposed rolls, choose a processing recipe, calculate working-solution volumes, and follow a clear session checklist from presoak to final rinse.

Keep a practical local inventory of developer, stop bath, fixer, and wetting agent. The dilution calculator shows concentrate and water amounts for your tank, while stock warnings help you spot what needs replenishing before the lights go out.

Record development sessions with film, developer, time, temperature, agitation pattern, and a result rating. Review recent batches, compare repeat combinations, and turn observations into better choices next time. A compact reference library explains handling, temperature, agitation, fixing, washing, drying, and common negative problems.

All records and preferences stay on your device. No account or connection is required.
