SendToTV – File Transfer

Move files from your phone to Android TV over your own Wi-Fi. SendToTV keeps the transfer simple: choose your files, tap the device you want, enter the four-digit PIN shown on the receiving screen, and send.

Nearby SendToTV devices appear automatically, so there's no long setup process. If discovery isn't available on a particular network, you can connect using the receiving device's IP address instead.

Received files are saved in the Downloads folder, where they're easy to find and open. You can send photos, videos, documents, and other file types without uploading them to cloud storage first.

Need to move an APK to an Android TV? Send the file over local Wi-Fi, then start the installation on the TV. It's a practical way to sideload apps without juggling USB drives.

SendToTV isn't limited to phone-to-TV transfers. It also works between phones running the app, making it useful whenever two nearby devices need to exchange a file.

The Android TV experience is built for the remote. SendToTV opens directly in Receive mode on TV, supports full D-pad navigation, and keeps focus visible as you move through the interface. A touchscreen isn't required.

Privacy stays straightforward. File contents and transfers stay on your local Wi-Fi network. There are no accounts, no ads, no third-party tracking — and the app collects no data at all.
