ScrapTrack: Buy/Sell Tracker

ScrapTrack is a transaction tracker built specifically for junk shops, scrap yards, and recycling buyers who need to record buy and sell transactions by material, keep inventory numbers accurate, and close out the cash drawer at the end of a shift.

WHAT SCRAPTRACK DOES

- Buy & Sell Entry — Log purchases and sales by material (aluminum, brass, copper, and any material you set up), with price-per-kilo or per-unit snapshots saved at the time of each transaction.

- Staff Accountability — Each staff member logs in with their own PIN, so every buy, sell, and void is attributed to the person who did it. Owner and Staff roles control who can void transactions or edit prices.

- Current Inventory — See how much of each material you have on hand, calculated from your actual buy and sell history.

- Void with Reason — Correct a mistaken entry without deleting the record — voided transactions are excluded from totals but kept in history for accountability.

- Transaction History — Full searchable log of every buy and sell, including voided ones, filterable by staff member.

- CSV & PDF Export — Export your transaction data for today or this week at no cost, ready to open in Excel, Google Sheets, or share with an accountant.

- Cash Drawer Reconciliation — Count your drawer at the end of a shift and see expected vs. actual cash, with a running history of every count.

- Supplier Tracking — Keep a record of regular sellers and suppliers alongside your transactions.
