Roadessy Mobile

Roadessy Mobile turns any Android phone into a professional road-survey instrument. Mount your device, drive the road, and let the app capture everything needed to assess pavement condition, then upload it all to the Roadessy platform with a single tap.

Built for road agencies, engineering consultants, and field enumerators, Roadessy Mobile makes network-level road condition data collection fast, affordable, and repeatable.

HOW IT WORKS

Create a project and add the roads you plan to survey.
Run the built-in sensor check to confirm your device is ready.
Drive the road while the app records GPS and inertial sensor data at your chosen interval, with a live map view of your progress.
Capture photos of defects and points of interest as you go — every image stays linked to its road.
Upload the completed run to the Roadessy platform, where it's processed into road condition insights alongside data from your whole team.

KEY FEATURES
- Sensor-based data collection: Records sensor data continuously while you drive, capturing the vibration signature of the road surface.
- Live map tracking: Follow your survey route in real time on an interactive map.
- Photo capture: Document road defects with the in-app camera; images are organized per road and uploaded with your run.
- Reliable background recording: Surveys keep recording with the screen rotated or the app in the background, so you never lose a stretch of road.
- Offline-first: All data is stored locally on your device during the survey. No connection needed in the field; upload later when you're back on a network.
- Project organization: Group roads into projects, track what's been surveyed, and manage your data before upload.
- Runs dashboard: Review your uploaded runs and get run details right from the app.
- Sensor diagnostics: Verify your device's sensors before heading into the field.
- Secure sign-in: Your account and data are protected, and every upload is tied to your team's workspace.

PART OF THE ROADESSY PLATFORM
Roadessy Mobile is the field-data companion to the Roadessy web platform. Data collected in the app feeds directly into the platform, where teams can analyze road condition, review survey coverage, and plan maintenance.

Note: Roadessy Mobile requires a Roadessy account. Location permission (including background location during active recording) is required for surveying.
