Purlyu

Want to know what is happening right now in your neighborhood and the places around you? Want to stay in touch with people in a particular place or region, as if you were still there? Purlyu helps you do exactly that, and a good deal more:

TALK TO YOUR LOCAL AREA

• Join location-based group chats and see what is happening nearby
• Ask for help: borrow a tool, find local know-how, get support in everyday life
• Get recommendations: restaurants, cafés, doctors, playgrounds, events, hidden gems
• Share what is useful: road closures, lost and found, neighborhood news, tips for visitors and explorers
• Post questions and requests, share offers, info, things worth knowing or warnings with the people around you
• Create your own location-based groups for it, in different sizes, on different topics, for different occasions
• Get closer to your neighborhood again, discover shared interests, and stay connected to the places you have good memories of

CHAT WITH YOUR CONTACTS

• Connect with your friends, family and colleagues
• Send direct messages with end-to-end encryption
• Create chat groups with up to 64 members
• Exchange text, photos, voice messages and files with each other, encrypted

TWO WAYS TO MESSAGE, ONE APP

Private contact chats when you want to write to someone directly and encrypted. Location groups when you want to ask the people around you: "Where is the best pizza here?", "When does the demonstration start?" or "Has anyone seen my cat?"

Direct messages with your contacts and messages in member groups are end-to-end encrypted. Location groups are for open, local conversation near you.
