TTC Now: Toronto Bus & Subway

Toronto buses, streetcars and the subway. TTC Now tells you how many minutes until the next one.

Allow location and the closest stops come up in order, with your favourites always at the top.

Features

• Stops within walking distance and their next arrival times show up first.
• The subway is here too. One card per station, with the next trains in both directions. For Line 6 Finch West you get scheduled times instead, since the TTC doesn't post live times for it online.
• If a detour or closure affects a stop, you'll see it right there with the arrival times. Elevator outages show on the station's own page.
• See all current TTC service alerts in one list, with the newest at the top. You can search it too.
• Turn on notifications to hear about big disruptions at your favourite stops, or anywhere on the routes you pick, even when the app is closed.
• Search for a stop by name or by an intersection like King and Bay. Stop numbers work too. Type a route number like 510 to see the closest stops on that route, or the whole route on the map with its vehicles.
• Favourite the stops you ride often and check them from the home screen widget without opening the app.
• Tap the bell next to a route and the time left stays in your status bar and on your lock screen, even after you close the app.
• "Leave in 4 min" already includes the walk to the stop, with a little extra so you don't have to run.
• Pick 10, 5, 3, 2 or 1 minute before departure and your phone tells you with a sound. It checks the arrival time again before it rings, so a late vehicle won't set off a false alarm.
• See where the streetcar actually is on the map. Buses and subway trains are on it too, though train positions are estimated from arrival times and can be a bit off. You can narrow it down to just your route.
• If a refresh fails the number stays but turns grey. Old information is never shown as if it were current.
• Dark mode follows your phone settings, and the map goes dark with it.
