huff: Gift Wishlist

huff is a gift wishlist app.

Made by people who got tired of asking "what do you want for your birthday?"

Save products from Amazon, Etsy, eBay and hundreds of other stores into one gift wishlist. The people who love you use it to figure out what to actually get you. No more "I didn't know what to buy." No more group chats trying to coordinate.

It works because of one rule: your wishlist is private by default. Only the people whose numbers YOU have saved in your contacts can see it. Not the other way around. You control who's in your audience - not the gifter, not huff. It's the inverse of every other social app, and it's the reason your boss can't stumble across the watch you've been eyeing.

- How the wishlist works -

1. Sign in with your phone. We'll text you a one-time code.
2. Save anything you want. Open a store, find a product, tap Share, pick huff. The link unfurls into a wishlist card with the title, price, image, and an optional note from you.
3. Your contacts who also use huff see your wishlist automatically. You don't add friends. You don't send links. They just see what you've saved.
4. When someone taps "I'll get this," the item is reserved for them for 30 minutes, so two people never buy the same gift.

Most gift registries lock you into a single retailer. huff doesn't. Save from Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Noon and hundreds of standalone brand sites that publish standard product information. If you can share a product link, you can add it to your wishlist. New stores are added constantly.

- Send it to people who don't have the app -

Generate a public wishlist link and text it to your grandparents, your in-laws, or a group chat. They open your list in a browser. No download, no account, no friction.

- Privacy you can verify -

Phone numbers from your contacts are hashed on your device before they ever leave it. Our servers store hashes only - never the raw numbers from your contact list.
