COMMUNITY-POWERED ROUTES

GPS CITY is designed to become more useful through the people who use it.

New transportation routes can be submitted by the community and made available as community routes while they are being evaluated. Users can confirm, report, or suggest edits to routes.

Route information can become more reliable as multiple independent users confirm and report the same route from different locations and at different times.

VERIFIED AND COMMUNITY ROUTES

Verified routes represent routes supported by strong community evidence and repeated user confirmations.

Community routes allow useful local transportation information to be shared while the information is being evaluated by the community.

ROUTES THAT CHANGE

Transportation routes can change over time. A bus or other transportation service may change streets, turn at a different location, extend its route, or change its destination.

GPS CITY allows users to suggest route changes so the community can help keep transportation information updated.

LOCATION

GPS CITY may use your device location, with your permission, to show transportation routes and options near you. Your location is used to provide location-based features and does not need to be shared publicly as part of using the app.

GPS CITY is designed to work with transportation information from different cities and countries.

Whether you are a visitor trying to understand local transportation or a resident who simply does not know the correct route, GPS CITY helps you discover transportation options and understand how to get where you need to go.
