About P2

P2 helps users explore available U.S. civic information by state and location. Review available legislation, enacted laws, selected roll-call votes, and representative information in one civic dashboard.

With P2, you can:
• Select a state or location and view available civic information
• Review available representative profiles
• Examine selected voting records and legislative activity
• Follow available civic issues and policy topics
• Track available bills, votes, elections, and deadlines
• Open the government source used for each applicable item

Content and feature availability varies by location and by the records currently supported in the app.

P2 is built around an evidence-first approach. Government records and legislative actions are linked so users can review the source behind each summary. P2 content may omit context or contain errors, and government information can change. Verify time-sensitive information using the linked official source.

P2 vote-alignment benchmarks compare selected recorded votes with disclosed P2 benchmark directions. They are not comprehensive evaluations of an officeholder’s complete record, ideology, performance, or fitness for office.

Independent app notice

P2 is an independent, privately operated civic-information app. P2 does not represent any government or political entity. P2 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any federal, state, or local government agency. P2 does not provide official government services.
