FlyRec: Bluetooth AV Recorder

FlyRec records cockpit video with the audio captured directly from your Bluetooth aviation headset microphone — not the phone's built-in mic. Your voice comes through the way it should: from the boom mic you're already wearing.

Many camera apps fall back to the phone microphone or support only selected Bluetooth devices. FlyRec is built for aviation headsets: it shows the active input, lets you test it before take-off, and warns you if the audio route changes. Connect your headset, hit record, and your commentary is captured cleanly alongside the video.

- Rule-of-thirds grid and an optional attitude (pitch and bank) overlay on the preview.
- Optional video stabilization to smooth out cockpit vibration.
- Picture-in-Picture: keep recording while you check your charts or another app.
- Choose recording quality (1080p / 720p / 480p) to balance clarity and storage.

BUILT FOR REAL FLIGHTS
- If your headset briefly disconnects, FlyRec warns you and automatically reconnects — your recording keeps going.
- Storage-aware: it warns you before you run out of space and estimates how much recording time you have left.
- Recordings are saved to your gallery and can be played back, shared, or deleted right inside the app.
- No headset? Record with the phone microphone anytime.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
FlyRec has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. Nothing you record leaves your device unless you choose to share it. Everything stays on your phone.

IMPORTANT
FlyRec captures the audio from your headset microphone (your own voice). It does not record ATC or intercom audio over Bluetooth — that's a limitation of the Bluetooth hands-free profile, not the app. Any on-screen attitude overlay is a visual aid only and is not a certified flight instrument. Always fly with your primary attention outside the cockpit and in compliance with your local aviation regulations.
