EXOS Echo: Walkie Talkie

Turn your smartphone into a tactical, off-grid digital walkie-talkie and wilderness mesh transceiver. EXOS ECHO connects you and your team directly through the air using peer-to-peer Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)—requiring ZERO cellular reception, internet access, Wi-Fi routers, or satellite subscriptions.

Engineered for backcountry hikers, search and rescue (SAR) operators, alpine expeditions, off-road convoys, disaster preparedness, and remote worksites, EXOS ECHO delivers real-time voice and tactical telemetry when conventional telecom fails.

KEY FEATURES:

■ PUSH-TO-TALK (PTT) LOW-LATENCY AUDIO
Crystal-clear, half-duplex digital voice communication. Optimized with 16 kHz HD IMA-ADPCM speech compression and sub-100ms floor latency. Features instant 0ms End-of-Transmission (EOT) squelch release for zero background tail noise.

■ AUTONOMOUS NEARBY RADAR & ZERO-CONFIG PAIRING
No manual IP configuration, pairing codes, or awkward QR scans. The autonomous radio radar continuously discovers nearby team nodes. Tap "Create Radio Group" to host an expedition frequency, or tap "Join Group" to connect instantly with tactile feedback.

■ 10 ISOLATED TACTICAL CHANNELS
Separate your operations into 10 distinct digital channels (CH 01 to CH 10). Strict cryptographic channel isolation ensures that teams on different frequencies experience zero crosstalk or audio leakage.

■ DUAL-WATCH REAL-TIME MONITORING
Transmit and receive on your primary channel while keeping a continuous standby guard open on a second frequency (e.g., monitor CH 01 Emergency while communicating on CH 02).

■ AUTONOMOUS MULTI-HOP MESH RELAY
Overcome physical line-of-sight limits. In rugged wilderness terrain where ridges or dense forests block direct signals, intermediate teammate devices automatically act as transparent digital packet repeaters, extending your operational perimeter multi-hop.

■ BACKGROUND RINGING & SCREEN-OFF CALL ALERTS
Never miss a transmission. A mission-grade foreground radio service keeps your device alert in your pocket or backpack. Incoming priority transmissions and call alerts vibrate and chime immediately, even when your screen is locked.

■ EMERGENCY SOS DISTRESS BEACON (100% FREE FOREVER)
In a backcountry crisis, arm the emergency SOS beacon. Broadcasts high-priority distress telemetry with your exact GPS latitude, longitude, and altitude to all nearby nodes and sounds an acoustic alert on all connected team devices. Channel 1 Simplex and SOS are free forever for all human beings.

■ STORE-AND-FORWARD OUTBOX BUFFER
Send tactical text messages and GPS waypoints with confidence. If a teammate temporarily hikes behind terrain, messages buffer in the Outbox and auto-deliver the millisecond RF connectivity restores.

■ OFFLINE TOPOGRAPHIC MAPS
Cache regional satellite and topographic contour maps prior to departure. Navigate trails, view teammate bearings, and mark rendezvous coordinates completely off-grid.

■ FAIR EXPEDITION LICENSING (1-PRO SPONSOR RULE)
Every user receives a full 7-day free trial of all Pro features upon installation. After evaluation, basic Channel 1 PTT voice and SOS distress beaconing remain 100% FREE forever. For multi-channel operations, only ONE team member needs a Pro Pass—the Pro sponsor unlocks up to 4 guest teammates in their group (5 people total).
