Idento: Cards & Documents

Idento keeps the cards and documents you carry in one place on your phone — and
keeps them there. Business contacts you collect, your sensitive ID documents,
2FA codes and the small facts you look up constantly all live on your device,
not on someone's server.

SCAN BUSINESS CARDS
Photograph a business card — front and back — and Idento reads the name, title,
phones, emails, company, websites and social handles into a proper record. Review
it, tag it, search it, and export it to your phone's address book when you want
it there.

CARRY YOUR DOCUMENTS
Keep your NID, driving licence, passport or anything else as labelled sets of
images. They stay on your device and are never sent anywhere to be read. The
details are encrypted by Idento; the page images sit in Idento's own private app
storage, behind Android's file encryption and your device lock.

2FA CODES
Store your two-factor authentication codes and Idento generates the rotating
six-digit codes offline, exactly like a standalone authenticator app. Add them by
scanning a QR or by typing the key.

QUICK CARDS
The things you look up and never remember: Wi-Fi password, bank account,
mobile wallet numbers, your address. One tap to copy, open or show large,
with a QR when that is the faster way to hand it over.

YOUR OWN PROFILE, SHARED ON YOUR TERMS
Build your own profile once and share it as a QR code or a link. You choose field
by field what the world sees — down to the individual phone number, so you can
publish a work line and keep a personal one private. Nothing is visible until you
say so, and you can take the page down at any time. Your documents and 2FA codes
are never part of it.

ENCRYPTED BACKUP YOU HOLD THE KEY TO
Backup is optional and end-to-end encrypted. The server stores only ciphertext it
cannot read, unlocked by a recovery code that only you have and that we never
receive. You can also save an encrypted archive file wherever you like — your own
computer, your own cloud drive — and restore from it on any device, offline.

WHAT LEAVES YOUR PHONE, AND WHAT DOES NOT
Your documents, your 2FA secrets, your quick cards and the contacts you collect
stay on the device. What does leave, leaves for a reason you can name: a card
image sent to be read, your encrypted backup if you switch it on, the profile
fields you chose to publish, the email your sign-in provides, your app settings,
and diagnostics. That is the whole list, and our privacy policy gives the same
one. No user data analytics. No ad tracking. No profile of what you do in the app.
