macow

Macow is a parental control and educational app designed to help parents manage device usage while encouraging children to learn. Rather than only blocking apps, Macow allows kids to earn screen time by completing educational challenges.

HOW IT WORKS 👇
Children can solve thinking challenges in Math, English, Logic, and Memory. Completing these tasks earns them coins, which can be exchanged for screen time in the app.

📍 Location Tracking: View your child's device location on a family map.
🛡️ App Management: Select which apps to block or allow.
📳 Remote Lock: Lock the child's device remotely when needed.
📈 Progress Analytics: View charts showing the number of challenges completed and monitor your child's learning streaks.

FEATURES FOR KIDS 🚀
📚 Educational Tasks: Practice math, reading, and logic skills.
🎮 Earning Screen Time: Kids can independently earn their own screen time by learning.

APP SECURITY 🔒
Macow includes security features to prevent the app from being bypassed or removed by the child.
🚫 Uninstall Protection: A Parent PIN is required to uninstall or disable the app.

IMPORTANT PERMISSIONS & PRIVACY
To function correctly as a parental control app, Macow requires specific device permissions:
• This app uses the Device Administrator permission to prevent unauthorized uninstallation by the child.
• This app uses the AccessibilityService API to prevent the removal of the app without the parent's password, and to enable the app-blocking overlay.
