DriveMint Permit Driving Log

A private, modern driving log for student learner drivers — and the parents
helping them earn a license. Track supervised hours, see real-time
progress against your state's requirements, and export a DMV-ready
form when you're done. No accounts. No ads. No data leaves your phone.

Built by a parent of a 15-year-old learner who couldn't find a driving
log app that wasn't bloated with ads, gated behind a sign-up, or
quietly syncing every drive to someone else's server.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Start a drive and watch the timer, speed, and distance update live.
Pause and resume whenever you need.
• Optional GPS distance: miles are counted automatically. Your
route is never saved or uploaded; only a rounded location per
drive stays on your phone.
• See your state's exact requirements — total hours, daytime hours,
nighttime hours — with progress bars that move every time you save.
All 50 US states supported, using data from the Insurance Institute
for Highway Safety.
• Add the supervisors riding with your learner (parents, guardians,
instructors) and see hours logged with each one.
• Missed a drive? Log it manually with full control over date, time,
distance, and conditions.
• Export your state's official DMV form (Pro): 43 states and DC,
from the NC DL-4A to the Texas 30-hour log. The plain log is free.
• Share a drive between two phones using a QR code — parent logs the
drive on their phone, teen scans, and it's imported instantly. No
cloud, no link, no account ever touched.
• Store a photo of the learner's permit for quick reference.
• Works on light and dark mode. Designed to be fast and quiet.

PRIVACY YOU CAN ACTUALLY VERIFY

DriveMint has:
- No accounts, no sign-up, no login screens
- No cloud storage — everything sits in a local database on your phone
- No analytics SDKs (no Firebase, no Sentry, no Amplitude — none)
- No advertising frameworks
- No third-party network calls during normal use
- Full offline functionality

This isn't marketing. The Data Safety section on this listing reflects
the same answer: no personal data is collected, nothing is shared, and
the only optional permission (location) is used on-device only.

If you've used other driving log apps and wondered why a permit
tracker needed your email address, your phone number, or a cloud
account — you're not the only one.

WHO IT'S FOR

• Teens working toward a learner's permit or graduated license
• Parents and guardians supervising new drivers
• Families getting a second driver through the same process
• Anyone who needs to document supervised driving in a serious way

PRICING

DESIGNED TO ACTUALLY WORK

DriveMint is built on the latest React Native and Expo SDK 54 with
native performance on both Android and iOS. Cold-launch is fast, the
