BLINKS - Drop & Pop

Drop an eyeball. Match four. Watch it chain.

BLINKS is a puzzle game with one input and no clock. Press anywhere, slide to pick a column, release to drop. Four or more of the same colour touching will blink, pop, and everything above collapses — which can set off another pop, and another.

Nothing in the game moves until you drop. There is no timer, no reaction test, and no way to lose by mis-tapping: a full column simply cannot be selected.

THE EYE UNDER THE FLOOR

Every orb that pops in a chain falls into the eye beneath the well. Five of them and it blinks — swallowing the bottom row of your board so everything sinks one row.

It does not destroy that row. It gives it back as the next row pushed up from below.

So a chain does not just raise a number. It buys you space, and you can watch the price arrive. Five clears in a chain pay 600 points; five separate clears pay 200.

READ IT WITHOUT READING

Hold your finger down and the four orbs that would pop are ringed in white, with the score they would pay floating above them. Three of a colour glow — one short. Sixty eyes on the board turn to watch your thumb.

Nothing important is written in words, and nothing important is carried by sound. It plays exactly the same with the volume off.

ACCESSIBILITY

Each colour also has its own pupil shape, so colour is never the only signal. High-contrast pupils, reduced motion, and separate sound and haptics switches are in Settings.
