About Cortex – Clinical Notes
Cortex keeps your clinical notes on your device and turns them into study material. Bring your own library - a OneDrive folder you share with a link, or documents you import yourself - and everything you open is cached for reading with no connection at all.
READ THE WAY THE NOTES WERE WRITTEN
The reader keeps the document's own typography, tables and images. A contents panel lists every heading, collapsed to the level you want, and jumps straight to the line you tapped. Type size and paragraph spacing are yours to set, and the page stays put when you come back.
SNAPSHOTS
One tap on a heading makes a snapshot: a single revision page that keeps the heading's key lines and tables in the document's own blue and plum highlights. Snapshots collect in a library you can rename, reopen, overwrite and delete, and they re-measure themselves when you turn the device.
FLASHCARDS AND QUIZZES
Make flashcards from a whole subject, a chapter or picked headings, with the count you ask for. Cards are scheduled with spaced repetition, so the review list shows what is due today. Quizzes run the same way, from your notes only or from everything in the library, and both keep a performance record you can read in one screen.
AI STUDY TOOLS, YOUR KEYS ONLY
Cortex carries no AI account of its own. Paste your own Gemini, OpenAI or OpenRouter key and choose which model each feature uses; without a key nothing is sent anywhere. Generated notes land in a folder you can edit, rename and delete like any other.
EXPORT AS PDF
Any note exports to A4 pages with the app's typesetting - running heads, tables with their rounded borders, and a credit line naming the model that helped. Share the PDF with any app on the device.
KEEPS TRACK WITHOUT KEEPING SCORE
Mark headings as read and the home screen shows today's reading and revision at a glance. Search runs across headings and snapshots as you type.
PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION
No account, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics. Your documents stay on your device and in the OneDrive folder you chose; the app's storage can be cleared from inside the app at any time. AI features send text only to the provider you configured, only when you ask, using your own key.
Cortex is a study tool for your own documents. It gives no medical advice and holds no medical records.
