About Mars
Mars is a source-aware planetary research application for exploring the Red Planet as an interconnected physical and operational system.
Navigate a premium MOLA-based globe, inspect scientifically documented places, compare environmental conditions, follow missions and instruments, and review the evidence behind each record. The application connects planetary cartography, mission archives, environmental models, and settlement-scenario analysis in one focused mobile interface.
KEY CAPABILITIES
• Interactive MOLA terrain and a dedicated 3D Mars explorer
• Catalog of planetary sites, craters, plains, volcanoes, canyons, and mission locations
• Environmental panels for temperature, pressure, wind, radiation, dust, and visibility
• Clear evidence classes separating observations, model output, derived values, and archival records
• Mission and rover profiles with source links
• Scientific source registry and methodology
• Settlement-scenario workspace for comparative research
• Research news, bookmarks, multilingual interface, and limited offline cache
DATA AND METHOD
Mars uses a Rust-backed research API and public planetary sources, including NASA and ESA archives. Values are labeled by evidence status so an instrument observation is not presented as the same thing as a model estimate or derived scenario value. Source pages remain available for verification.
PRIVACY
No account is required. The application contains no advertising and no behavioral tracking. Language, bookmarks, preferences, and a limited cache remain on your device.
Mars is intended for education, research, and public scientific exploration. It is not an operational spacecraft-control or safety system.
