AKOKAN: Ifa Oracle Wisdom

AKOKAN brings ancestral Yoruba wisdom into everyday life through contemporary interpretations drawn from the Ifa divination system.

At the heart of AKOKAN is its home screen widget, created so that a teaching remains present and accompanies the course of the day without the need to open an app.

Each day, AKOKAN presents four teachings selected at random, inspired by the traditional corpus of Ifa, and adapted into clear, universal, contemporary language. The widget keeps that wisdom present on the screen; when a deeper exploration is desired, the companion app allows users to discover its context, explore other teachings, and trace the sources from which they come.

AKOKAN does not offer simple motivational quotes. Each teaching preserves its connection to knowledge passed down through generations, its depth, and its capacity to provoke reflection.

AKOKAN preserves the symbolic and ethical dimension of the ancient knowledge of the Yoruba people. Its purpose is to accompany everyday reflection, not to reproduce ritual practices or offer predictions.

The app includes:

- A customizable widget designed to accompany the day
- Four teachings selected at random each day
- Reflections that allow for a deeper understanding of their meaning
- Related teachings that reveal new connections
- A library for exploring the wisdom of Ifa and its sources
- Multiple widget customization options
- Full content in English and Spanish
- A private experience with no accounts, ads, or tracking

Ancient wisdom for your day, drawn from the Yoruba divination system.
