About KI Coach - Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Fitness

KI Coach is a free coaching app for strength athletes - be it Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, Cross-Functional Fitness or Home Workouts. In addition to your workouts, KI Coach also assists you with nutrition planning. With the help of artificial intelligence, all plans are custom tailored to the individual user.

Olympic Weightlifting
Here, the focus can be on competition preparation, building general strength (off-season) or a transition phase (from off-season to meet preparation).

Powerlifting
Individual workout planning is also available for Powerlifting. The focus can be on competition preparation or off-season.

Bodybuilding and Home Workouts
As a Bodybuilder, the focus can be on hypertrophy or strength. If you don't have a gym or no equipment available at the moment, you can use the Home Workout variant, which mainly focuses on body weight exercises.

Cross-Functional Fitness
As a Cross-Functional Fitness athlete you have three main options: With the General Strength program, you can build general strength, while there are also two more specific options with the Olympic Weightlifting and Powerlifting variants. All programs have the ultimate goal of increasing your PRs, but they are designed in such a way that the athlete can also perform his usual WODs / Metcons.

Mobility
Examine your mobility with three simple tests. The coach will then create a customized mobility routine for you.

Knowledge Database
KI Coach offers you a Knowledge Database with articles covering the most important topics of training, nutrition and recovery.

How does the training planning work?
At the beginning, you have to answer about 15 questions regarding your weight, height, age, training experience, and so on. An artificial intelligence uses this information to determine a variety of parameters, such as the optimal exercise selection, training volume, intensity and frequency. These parameters, build the basis for creating your individual workout plan. In addition, you can further customize the plan, including the number of training days or the exercise selection. You also have the option to provide feedback, for example on the intensity of an exercise or the recovery of individual muscle groups. This allows the artificial intelligence to adjust the plan as needed and it also enables the algorithm to learn: The longer the user trains with the app, the better the coach can assess how the user reacts to different training stimuli.

How does the nutrition planning work?
Initially, you choose your nutrition goal - muscle gain, fat loss or weight maintenance. Then you select your target weight, whereupon the coach suggests a period in weeks in which the goal can be optimally achieved. This period can be slightly adjusted if necessary. After all the necessary information has been entered, the coach begins planning. Daily goals are calculated for in terms of calories and macronutrients. Finally, the app enables you to track your nutritional intake and body weight, which is continuously monitored by the coach so that caloric and nutrional targets are automatically adjusted based on body weight changes.
