Sahaf : Kitap Okuma Uygulaması

Sahaf is a book reading app that brings royalty-free Turkish and world classics pre-installed on your device. 160 books are included in the app: they can be read offline, require no account, and are free.

📚 160 BOOKS ON YOUR DEVICE
Atatürk's Speech, The Fur Coat Madonna, September, Forbidden Love, Crime and Punishment, Les Misérables, The Metamorphosis, and many more are ready to read upon first launch. Books are not downloaded — they are installed with the app, meaning you won't use a single megabyte for free book reading. Offline reading truly means no internet connection: you can open it on a plane, subway, or in a place with no signal and continue where you left off.

🔊 ALOUD READING
Each book can be read aloud. The app uses your device's own text-to-speech (TTS) audio; the sentence being read is highlighted on the screen, and you follow the page. Reading continues even if you close the screen; you can pause and resume reading from the notification area, and change the reading speed. The audio is entirely generated on the device; no text is sent to a server; the audio reading also works offline.

📖 YOUR OWN BOOKS
Add EPUB and PDF files from your phone or cloud drive, or paste an address. The EPUB reader and PDF reader are ready inside; the ebook you add will use the same reader, the same audio, the same text settings, and the same progress tracking. There is no limit to the number of books.

⚙️ READING SETTINGS
Font size, line spacing, font, and page color (white, cream, dark) are up to you. The layout you set will apply to all books, so you won't have to do it again. Light and dark themes, separate layouts for phones and tablets.

🔍 SEARCH WITHIN THE BOOK
Search for a sentence, a name, or a word you remember throughout the entire book.

📌 WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
Your reading progress is remembered separately in each book. You will see how much you have read in your library, and the books you have finished are marked. You can choose to receive a single reminder once a week for your unfinished book — this is off by default and won't turn on at all if you don't want it to.

🌍 TURKISH AND ENGLISH
The interface is in Turkish and English. The library contains both Turkish classics and English books; you can open whichever you prefer.

🔎 MORE BOOKS
You can search Project Gutenberg, Wikisource, and the Internet Archive to find new royalty-free books, download them, and read them offline. The source, license, and contributors of each book are listed on the book's page.
