Brightment

A basement egress window is the large, code-compliant window that turns a dark cellar into legal living space — a bedroom, a rental suite, a family room — and gives everyone down there a real way out in an emergency.

Brightment shows you what yours would look like, before anyone digs.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Photograph your basement window — from inside the room, or from the yard.
2. Choose a window style, frame finish, and window well.
3. Get a realistic design concept back in under a minute. Keep it, compare it, share it.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Interior Design — see your room with real daylight coming through a proper window
• Exterior Design — see the window well and the landscaping around it before excavation starts
• My Projects — every concept you generate, kept in one place to compare and share

WHY IT MATTERS
• A real way out. An egress window is a code-compliant emergency exit. It is what makes a basement bedroom legal.
• See it before you dig. Excavation and foundation cutting are not reversible. Decide what you want while it is still a picture.
• Bring your household along. Show a partner or a tenant the actual result instead of describing it.
• Talk to your contractor with something to point at. A concept removes most of the guesswork from a first quote.
