WHAT VETRATE DOES

VetRate estimates your combined VA disability rating and monthly compensation using the combined-ratings method published by VA in 38 CFR 4.25 — not simple addition.

Most people are surprised that 70% + 30% does not equal 100%. VA rates each new condition only against the health you have left, so every condition adds less than its face value. VetRate does that math the way the regulation describes and shows you every step.
