ODrop™

ODrop™ is a calm, private place to stay close to your family and closest friends. No ads, no strangers, no noise - just the people you invite.

Invite-only, by design
You only ever talk to people you invite yourself, or whose invite you accept. There is no directory, no friend suggestions, and no way for a stranger to find you.

No phone number, no email, no account
There is no sign-up form. Your identity is created on your own phone and shared with a contact by an invite link. We never ask for a phone number, an email address, or a name.

End-to-end encrypted
Messages, calls and attachments are end-to-end encrypted. The keys exist only on your phone and your contact's phone. We cannot read them.

Ways to talk
- Text, photos, videos, voice notes and files
- Voice and video calls
- Economy call: a voice call that keeps working on a weak connection
- Push-to-talk: hold the button and speak, like a walkie-talkie, when the connection is too poor even for that

Normal and economy calls are recorded on your own phone, so you can hear again a number or a name you missed, or delete the recording. Recordings stay on your phone: there is no share button, and they leave it only inside your own encrypted Full backup.

Your Vault
A private room for the things you would otherwise write on paper. What you keep there is locked, on the phone and in any backup.

Encrypted backup, only if you want it
Full backup is off until you switch it on. When you do, your chats, files and call recordings are locked on your phone with a key made from your recovery passphrase before anything leaves it, so a new phone can bring them back and nobody else - not even us - can open them.

Blocking is in your hands
Blocking a contact stops their messages on your own phone, and you can undo it.

Free, and quiet about it
No ads. No analytics. No trackers. Nothing sold or shared. ODrop™ is free and there is nothing to buy inside it.

Works on the phone you already have
Android 8.0 and newer, including inexpensive and older handsets.

ODrop™ is made by Vital Ideal Solutions Limited, a company registered in New Zealand.
