Linka

Linka is a social network of proximity. Instead of turning every relationship into a flat list and every interest into an attention profile, it organizes people, conversations, and culture around the connections you choose.

CIRCLES WITH MEANING
Organize your connections into three explicit spaces: Intimate, Personal, and Social. Each person occupies the place that relationship holds for you—without popularity rankings and without mixing intimacy with audience.

SQUARES AND A FEED WITH BREATHING ROOM
The Squares bring together publications by context: Circles, Public, Lounge, Arts, Lab, Vox, Trade, Terra, Aura, and Search. The feed uses an editorial composition, with space between images, texts, and authors, so that content doesn't become noise.

CHAT, MEDIA, AND CALLS
Chat individually, share photos, videos, audio, and posts, and make voice or video calls. Established relationships preserve their channels; new, sensitive access is achieved through clear choices between people.

DAMA — AN INTELLIGENCE FOR “US”
Within a conversation, two people can open a temporary space to think together with DAMA. She only receives what is written in that dedicated space; the surrounding conversation is not delivered to the intelligence. The session content expires in two hours.

CINEMA, RADIO, PODCASTS AND LIBRARY
Discover films, series, anime, public collections, stations, podcasts and books without building an attention history. The search consults external catalogs when you ask; external players remain closed until you tap. Items only enter a collection when you choose them.

STORIES, PROFILES AND VISUAL IDENTITY
Create photos and videos, publish memories, visit profiles in editorial composition and dress Linka with your own palettes. The deep black visual, the butterfly and the ambient movement belong to the interface — they do not replace the real security mechanisms.

TECHNOLOGY AND SECURITY
• Direct messages use end-to-end encryption with keys per message and sessions per device, combining properties of initial key exchange and continuous ratchet. Device identity, session, and vault are separate states.

• Calls use WebRTC and DTLS-SRTP protection between participants. When necessary, TURN retransmits packets without terminating the media.

• Real-time events use authenticated WebSocket. Durable state resides in PostgreSQL; push notifications serve to wake the application and fetch the canonical state.

• On Android, the application restricts insecure traffic, local WebView access, and opaque backup of private data. Native vault features and local reauthorization depend on device capabilities.

• Cinema and discovery integrate sources such as Internet Archive, Kitsu, AniList, TMDB, and YouTube, maintaining credentials on the server and preventing persistence of searches as an interest profile.

Linka does not promise to guess who you are. It provides a framework for you to determine who is close, what deserves attention, and what should disappear.
