How & Why It Works
The MoveWell Method alleviates and prevents pain in the body. Where there is pain, we find imbalance —compression, grinding or tugging. In order for there to be long-term relief, there must be balance in the whole joint plus strength in the supporting systems.
The MoveWell Method works to help you uncover the areas of weakness and coaches you through exercises that, first, activate, and then strengthen those areas. (They are usually small and mighty muscles you’ve almost never used on purpose before.) We also discover areas that are tight and use a safe approach to loosening the areas of compression without sacrificing the strength needed to support a more open and balanced joint.
The MoveWell Method cuts to the chase by getting to the root of the issue because, if undiscovered and uncorrected, those root and secondary issues can cause you re-injury, more pain and additional unnecessary stress.
