As is known, Ramadan fasting is a special worship. Because it is individual, only you know whether you are fasting or not. Because of this special fasting of worship, in his word qudsi Allah says, al-Shaumu Li Wa Ana Ajzi bi (Fasting is for Me and I am the one who gives the reward).
This Qudsi hadith narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim turns out to have a deep meaning.
