All teaching staff have a responsibility to accommodate learning needs that suit the uniqueness of students. Special education teachers for students with intellectual disabilities have a tough challenge to meet the learning needs of their students. On the one hand, teachers must meet the expectations of the ideal curriculum, but on the other hand teachers must consider the realities, modalities and uniqueness of students with intellectual barriers.

Therefore, it is very important to create a special education teacher's guidebook for students with intellectual disabilities. This book aims to bridge the gap between the objective conditions of students and the expectations of the existing curriculum. This book discusses science and knowledge about how to practice innovative, effective and meaningful learning for students with intellectual disabilities.

This guidebook focuses on the essence of individual needs and learning innovation through the collaboration of basic psychological process aspects and academic aspects. As a main book, it is hoped that this book can inspire, motivate and encourage teachers to continue to innovate in improving the best quality of service for their students. So that gaps in the curriculum and objective conditions of students can be overcome.
