This Hindu Religious Education and Character Education Student Book for Grade IV Primary School level lessons is prepared based on the 2020 Learning Outcomes by paying attention to the phases.

This book was prepared based on an understanding of competency in creating learning so that students can be more active, creative, innovative and enjoyable, so that they can achieve the expected competencies and create a young generation of Hindus who have noble character.

This book is also equipped with active student activities, such as reading, observing, discussing, finding out, writing, narrating and/or telling stories, opinions, and practicing which aims to encourage and stimulate students to be active. The let's discuss activity is an exercise to hone communication skills, students' self-confidence and active discussions in class with their friends.

This book is equipped with discussions with parents to encourage students to be closer to their parents and receive guidance in implementing Hindu religious teachings well in everyday life.

Assessments are given in several sub-chapters and at the end of each chapter to test and simultaneously measure the level of mastery of students' knowledge aspects using various instruments. This Student Book is also equipped with a glossary which contains explanations of the terms used in this book which aims to help students understand the material.

This book is also equipped with interesting pictures according to the material, in order to motivate and instill an attitude of enjoyment in reading (literacy) in students.

Finally, hopefully this student book can help students understand the teachings of Hinduism and be able to practice them in everyday life.
