The Engineering Craft subject is an applied science that is incorporated into an engineering system of basic concepts that support learning outcomes. Engineering Crafts aims to develop students' knowledge, skills and attitudes. Apart from that, it also aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit through products produced by empowering existing resources.

The scope of the Class IX SMP / MTs Engineering Crafts Teacher's Guidebook consists of general instructions and specific learning instructions for elements or sub-elements of learning outcomes. Engineering Craft Learning includes four units, namely Automatic Light Equipment, Egg Hatching Temperature Control Device, Flood Detection Equipment, and Fire Detection Equipment.
