About FitSquad - Team-Based Fitness Challenges

Being successful with fitness take more than exercise motivation. It takes consistency.

If you show up day after day, week after week and put in the work, you WILL see results.

The problem is that we struggle to be consistent with our exercise.

It’s easy to skip a day because you’re tired or life gets in the way. After all, what’s the big deal right? It’s just one day.

But then one day, turns into two days.

Two days turns into a week.

A week turns into a month.

And suddenly you’re out of shape.

The reason it’s so easy to skip a day, a week or a month is because at the end of the day you’re only really hurting yourself. And the reality is humans function better when their lives and actions have meaning.

This is why so many of us have spouses, pets, plants & children. It’s why we’re willing to go the extra mile for family members, teammates and co-workers.

When someone or something is depending on us, we do better. If the only person we’re letting down is ourselves, we’re more likely to give up.

The greatest feats of humankind have come not in service of self, but in service of others. Accountability & dependability bring out the best in us.

HOW FITSQUAD WORKS

1. SET AN ACTIVITY GOAL
It all starts with setting your goal for the week for the number of minutes you'll be active. Not sure where to start? 150 minutes per week is great starting point!

2. SQUAD UP
Once you have goal, it's time to Squad Up. You'll create a group goal where everyone's contribution matters.

3. LOG WHAT YOU DO
Now it's time to get moving! To get your credit, log what you've done. Everything counts!

4. (OPTIONAL) CONNECT YOUR WEARABLE
Already tracking your activity? Great! Connect your FitBit, Apple Watch, Garmin or Strava account to make it even easier.

5. ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER
Every squad has their own private chat room where you can see each others activity, give love and keep each other accountable.

6. EARN AMAZING REWARDS AND GIVE BACK
Once you're ready to make a more serious commitment, you can sign up for one of our seasonal challenges where you will commit to being consistent over the course of several weeks. If you're successful with the challenge, you'll be able to earn:
- That seasons' medal one-of-a-kind medal (why should runners have all the fun??)
- A limited-time shirt
- A donation to charity in your name
