Turn everyday moments of mindfulness into a calm, tactile ritual with Ishi. The app presents a top-down view of a shallow wooden tray filled with fine raked sand, where each self-care activity you complete becomes a smooth stone you place on the surface. Logging is simple and intentional: from the Place screen, you give your stone an activity name like Meditation or Gratitude, enter the minutes you spent, and choose a mood using a set of colored pebble chips. Each mood has its own hue and gentle veining, from blue-grey for calm to rose for energy and green for balance. You can also add a short personal reflection as a note before placing the stone, completing the entry with a satisfying sense of closure.
Your Tray dashboard welcomes you with two stacks of stones that act as gentle counters. One shows how many stones you placed today, while the other displays your current streak of consecutive days logged. Below them, a horizontal row of your three most recent stones rests in the sand, each with its activity name carved beside it. Tapping any stone takes you straight to its details for editing or quiet review. The Stones tab keeps a full vertical list of every entry in reverse order, showing a small pebble icon, the activity, the minutes, and the date for quick browsing. When you want to find a specific moment, the Seek tab offers a search bar to filter your stones by name or mood, so no reflection ever gets buried.
All your data is stored privately on your device and requires no account or internet connection. The app never syncs to a cloud, keeping your wellness journal entirely yours. Visual touches like the tiny gold star stamped on a completed stone instead of a checkmark, and the soft golden glow that lifts the active tab object, make tracking feel more like arranging a miniature zen garden than filling out a form.
